US Sep CPI is due Oct 14 at 08:30 ET, with PPI, retail sales and jobless claims due Oct 15 at the same time. Forecasts see energy lifting headline CPI from 3.4% to 3.7% YoY, while core slows from 0.3% to 0.2% MoM. On Oct 12, Cleveland Fed’s Hammack backed further hikes, citing broad inflation.
