About TradFiStablecoinAlliance

21 institutions, including Bank of America, Citi, Goldman, Fidelity, Deutsche Bank, UBS and Wells Fargo, plan a new company in H2 2026 to issue a dollar stablecoin, entering in H1 2027: cross-border payments, digital asset settlement, wholesale to retail, under the GENIUS Act and MiCA. Nothing is formed; structure, reserves, approvals undisclosed. With TradFi in, the race shifts from size to networks, channels, reserves and compliance. Can a bank coin build demand, or does USDT/USDC's moat hold.

The biggest crypto adoption story may not be another token. It may be the dollar moving on-chain. Stablecoins have quietly become one of the most important pieces of crypto infrastructure. The market has already grown beyond $300B, while stablecoin transaction activity has expanded far beyond simple exchange trading. BIS estimates that stablecoins generated around $28T of gross transaction volume in 2025, although adjusted economic activity is considerably lower. Now TradFi is moving closer. A coalition of 21 major financial institutions, including Goldman Sachs, Bank of America, Citi and Deutsche Bank, is preparing a dollar stablecoin targeted for the first half of 2027. The interesting part is the use case. This is not necessarily about creating another token for crypto traders. It is about payments and settlement. That distinction matters. Banks are beginning to see blockchains as potential infrastructure for moving money 24/7. And stablecoins are the bridge. $USDT already dominates the market. $USDC has become a major regulated dollar rail. $ETH and $SOL provide networks where stablecoins can move. $LINK can provide the data infrastructure required by financial applications. $AAVE and $UNI provide financial markets around that liquidity. $ONDO sits closer to the tokenization side of the equation. The bigger opportunity may therefore be underneath the stablecoin itself. Think about the stack: Dollar → stablecoin → blockchain → liquidity → settlement → financial application. If banks start putting serious payment volume through that stack, the value may accrue across the infrastructure supporting it. That is why I’m watching $ETH, $SOL, $LINK, $AAVE, $UNI and $ONDO differently. The thesis is no longer simply “stablecoins will grow.” The real question is: Who captures the economic activity created when dollars become programmable? There is also a major competitive risk. #BTCGoldCorr+0.50 #HammackBacksHike #ZECRanks10thByMarketCap

21 banks Goldman Sachs, BofA, Citi, Deutsche Bank included just announced a joint USD stablecoin company, launching H1 2027. Watch how fast Twitter turns this into "bullish, banks printing." My article below explains why that reflex doesn't survive the data. $USDT $USDC $BTC #DeployableLiquidity

"THEY PRINTED USDT" IS NOT A SIGNAL
Why the Twitter reflex, new USDT minted, therefore the market pumps, doesn't survive contact with the data Every few weeks it happens. Tether mints a few hundred million or a billion USDT. Someone screenshots the mint transaction. The caption writes itself: 'They just printed $1B USDT. Bullish.' The tweet gets traction because the logic feels obvious, more dollars in the system, more dollars available to buy Bitcoin, price goes up. It's a clean story. It's also not what the data shows. 1. 🚨HUGE: 21 of the world's LARGEST banks are teaming up to launch their OWN stablecoin. Bank of America, Citi, Goldman Sachs, Deutsche Bank, UBS, Wells Fargo, Fidelity and 14 others will form a new company to issue a dollar-backed stablecoin, with a launch targeted for the first half of 2027. Pharaoh's Market Watch] My DMs exploded, everyone is asking Pharaoh about Goldman Sachs, Bank of America, Citibank, and 21 other traditional financial giants teaming up to officially announce the joint issuance of a US dollar stablecoin in the first half of 2027. Pharaoh took a look at this lineup—it's even more organized than Pharaoh's pyramid construction crew. Together, they manage assets exceeding $65 trillion and are aiming to grab a slice of the stablecoin pie. #CryptoTreasuryDurability
