Before PowHSMs can authorize a withdrawal, the request must wait for around 4,000 Rootstock blocks — roughly 36 hours. That delay may look inconvenient, but when Bitcoin is involved, extra time can provide another layer of protection. In bridge security, waiting isn’t necessarily weakness.
