$BTC Fear & Greed Index has dropped to 26, firmly in the fear zone—but fear by itself doesn't signal a market bottom. So far, I'm not seeing the type of panic selling that typically marks a strong reversal. Instead, Bitcoin is moving sideways, altcoins continue to underperform, and there's little evidence of meaningful new capital entering the market. This looks more like a loss of momentum than true capitulation. Markets can remain quiet and directionless for longer than most traders anticipate. Until buyers return with strong conviction, I prefer to stay patient rather than treat every dip as a buying opportunity.
