What is GlamsterdamOnSepolia?

GlamsterdamOnSepolia is Ethereum’s Glamsterdam upgrade activated on the Sepolia testnet on Oct 6, marking a key step before mainnet. It introduces enshrined proposer-builder separation (ePBS) and block-level access lists (BALs) to support L1 scaling. Sepolia’s gas limit was raised from about 60M to 200M for testing; Ethereum mainnet’s gas limit has not been raised to 200M. Activation dates for Hoodi and mainnet remain undecided..
