Bitcoin’s ETF Streak Just Ended. Ethereum Is Still Attracting Institutional Money. Something interesting is happening in the institutional crypto market. Bitcoin ETFs just recorded their first major outflow after nine consecutive sessions of inflows. But Ethereum is moving in the opposite direction. U.S. spot Ethereum ETFs have now attracted roughly $1.42B over nine consecutive trading sessions. And BlackRock’s ETHA is responsible for around 72% of that flow. That is roughly $1.02B entering one Ethereum ETF in just nine sessions. For me, that is becoming difficult to ignore. 🟠 BITCOIN $BTC still dominates institutional crypto exposure. But the latest flow data shows a clear change. Bitcoin ETFs recorded around $201.9M in net outflows on August 28, ending a nine-session streak that had brought in more than $3B. Bitcoin also fell back below the $78K area. That does not automatically mean institutions are turning bearish on Bitcoin. It could simply be profit-taking after a strong rally. But the timing is interesting. Because while Bitcoin's flow momentum weakened, Ethereum continued attracting capital. 🔵 ETHEREUM This is where the story gets more important. Ethereum ETFs have now recorded nine consecutive sessions of inflows, with total net inflows reaching approximately $1.42B. The strongest part is not only the size. It is the consistency. Nine consecutive sessions means institutional demand has remained positive across multiple trading days instead of coming from one isolated spike. And BlackRock’s ETHA has captured roughly 72% of those inflows. That tells me institutional Ethereum exposure is becoming increasingly concentrated around a major, highly accessible product. 📊 BUT PRICE IS TELLING A DIFFERENT STORY There is an important detail here. Strong ETF inflows do not automatically produce an equally strong price reaction.
