Tuesday is the first real test, not a signing ceremony. The Senate votes Tuesday, Sept 15 at 2:15 p.m. ET on cloture to proceed to the CLARITY Act (the market-structure bill people are calling the “Clarity Ethics Act”). 60 votes GOP has 53 seats and some possible defections, so it still needs a handful of Democrats. The fight is the ethics language: limits on officials (including the president) issuing or sponsoring tokens, plus how those rules get enforced. What that means for Bitcoin
