Safety governance earns its value when it constrains a decision that would otherwise look commercially attractive.
Anthropic's IPO plans and reported $13.7B compute commitment make that test more consequential. My read: governance could be a durable advantage, but only if investors accept that safety limits may sometimes take priority over growth delivery.
