#Anthropic signs $11.6 billion contract to expand CPU capacity
The speed at which this AI burns money, even the money printer can't keep up.
Anthropic just signed a huge deal with Akamai: $11.6 billion over 7 years, just to buy CPU capacity. And that's not all—the contract includes an add-on clause that could cost up to another $9 billion, pushing the total close to $20 billion. Even more impressive, the deal is tied to equity; Anthropic got up to 5% warrants in Akamai. In other words, it's not just a purchase, it's a deep partnership.
What impact does this have on the crypto world?
First, AI hardware costs won't drop in the short term. Big companies are frantically buying up resources, so miners and AI compute projects in crypto will have to keep bearing high hardware costs—don't expect any relief soon.
Second, the AI sector in crypto will face accelerated reshuffling. Giants are investing real money into infrastructure and locking in long-term contracts. Those AI concept coins that only write whitepapers and paint big promises will die off even faster. Capital will increasingly flow to projects with real business and cash flow.
Here's my take.
This order sends a very clear signal: AI applications, especially inference and agents, are generating massive real consumption, and the industry trend is accelerating. But for us retail investors, don't blindly rush into those concept coins just because of big AI deals. When the tide goes out, only the real stuff remains.

#闪迪获Rosenblatt买入评级,目标价2400美元
SanDisk has once again been backed by a major investment bank.
Rosenblatt gave SanDisk a buy rating for the first time, setting a target price of 2400. Look at the current price, only 1887, which means they believe there is nearly 50% upside. As soon as the news came out, SanDisk surged 6.82% that day, and storage peers like Micron, Seagate, and Western Digital also benefited.
What is Rosenblatt thinking? Simply put, the data volume generated by AI training and inference is staggering, and data centers are demanding higher capacity, performance, and durability from NAND storage. Previously, NAND was seen as a cyclical commodity, but now the market is re-labeling it as part of AI infrastructure. After being included in the S&P 100, the focus is no longer just on the index but on the actual demand for AI storage. Next up is Micron's earnings report on October 1, which will be the next industry litmus test.
Here’s my take.
The 2400 target price from institutions isn’t charity; it’s tagging SanDisk as AI infrastructure. But it has already risen quite a bit in the short term, so don’t blindly rush just because the target price is high. Wait for a pullback to confirm support before making a move. The big picture is solid, but you need to manage the timing yourself.

#高盛预估2027年AI相关资本开支约1.2万亿美元
Goldman Sachs has thrown out another big number.
They expect that by 2027, the capital expenditures of the five giants Meta, Microsoft, Google, Amazon, and Oracle will reach $1.2 trillion. That's significantly more than the $800 billion projected for 2026. Where will this money be spent? All on AI infrastructure: data centers, computing power, and electricity.
What impact does this have on us? I'll break it down in two layers.
First, the money-burning game of AI infrastructure has not stopped; it's accelerating. Don't expect hardware costs for miners and AI computing projects to drop in the short term. Chips, storage, electricity—everyone is competing fiercely, and the underlying costs are rigid.
Second, the market is no longer focused on how much you spend, but whether that money can turn back into real cash. Meta is pushing AI hardware and shopping; everyone is racing to implement Agents. This is a brutal reshuffle signal for AI projects in the crypto space—giants are fighting for actual revenue, so those air coins that only write white papers will die even faster, and money will concentrate on projects with real business.
Here’s my take.
$1.2 trillion sounds scary, indicating that the AI direction is far from over and the money is truly being poured in. But let's not get carried away by grand narratives; giants burning money doesn't mean your air coins will rise. So be rational and don't act impulsively.
