BTC is consolidating strongly near $80,000, having once briefly broken through 81K, with institutional buying still the core engine of the market. Last week, spot BTC and ETH ETFs collectively attracted about $2.62 billion in inflows, showing that investor confidence is returning.
ETH is holding steady above the $2,500 mark, SOL and some altcoins are beginning to gain more attention, and liquidity is gradually spreading outward. The rotation theme I am focusing on is very clear: BTC leads the market, ETH shows steady resilience, and SOL offers high-elasticity offensive opportunities.
The market structure is improving, with funds spreading from a single leader to diversified assets. This healthy rotation often signals more sustainable upward momentum. Continue to closely watch ETF flows and leader performance, and remain patient as long as the trend remains unchanged.
Bull markets don't reward being right — they reward staying in the game. 🎯 I used to chase the biggest winners and got shaken out more times than I'd like to admit. Now, my focus is simple: survive every dip, protect capital, and stay positioned for the long run. 🛡️ My portfolio is built around $BTC, $ETH, $SOL, $OKB, $DOGE, and $HYPE, split into three buckets: core holdings for conviction, trend positions for momentum, and hot plays to take profits during euphoria.
Walsh's first keynote speech at Jackson Hole coincides with the Federal Reserve's particularly tricky balancing act: core PCE remains above 2%, but initial jobless claims have dropped to 203,000. Both Schmidt and Hamarak emphasize inflation risks, but the market's real focus is not on a single policy bias, rather on whether Walsh can define a reusable response framework.
My view is that clarifying how inflation, employment, and financial conditions influence the policy path is far more valuable than labeling as hawkish or dovish. If the framework is vague, the market will repeatedly reprice the boundaries between the Fed and the Treasury on long-end yields, intensifying volatility in the dollar, U.S. Treasuries, gold, and Bitcoin. For analysis only, not investment advice. #WalshPolicyFramework
$BTC is hovering near $79,800 while $ETH sits around $2,500. Two round numbers, zero conviction. Neither bulls nor bears want to commit first, so price just drifts and waits for someone to blink. Volume is there, but the follow-through is missing. 🎯 Today's real story isn't the chart — it's the calendar. Roughly $6. 4B in Bitcoin options expire, with another $960M on Ethereum. Calls outnumber puts on paper, but big expiries often bait the crowd. The classic play?
BTC surged then pulled back, with options expiry amplifying the key price level's long-short battle. At 4 PM today, 81,700 BTC options will expire on Deribit, with a notional value as high as $6.44 billion, including 44,639 calls and 37,061 puts, a Put/Call ratio of 0.83, indicating an overall bullish market.
The maximum pain point is at $68,000, but the spot price has reached around $79,000, deviating by as much as $11,000. Call option open interest is concentrated at $75,000 and $80,000, with notional value of options within 5% of the spot exceeding $500 million. Those holding positions should closely monitor this figure this afternoon.
ETH also has about $961 million in options expiring the same day, with a maximum pain point at $2,200, while the spot is around $2,490, deviating by about $300
$ETH is hovering around $2,500, flat today and only slightly green on the week. It's still trailing BTC and SOL, and honestly, that frustration is valid. But the real story isn't the price chart — it's the onchain tape. 🧵 Large holders with 100k+ ETH have been quietly accumulating for months. The 10k–100k cohort is sitting at historic highs. This isn't retail FOMO; it's smart money building while the chart looks boring.
Forget bear vs. bull markets—welcome to the monkey market 🐒 BTC and ETH are swinging wildly, keeping every trader on edge. This morning, Bitcoin surged to $81,520, only to get slapped back below $80,000 in the blink of an eye. Ethereum touched $2,535, then got pushed straight down to $2,484. My ETH longs are already closed. Hitting $2,450 is a level you just have to dare to reach for.
Bitcoin is holding steady near $80K, but the real story is capital rotation spreading beyond the majors. 🚀 Ethereum remains solid, while Solana is stealing the spotlight with a 20%+ surge over the past week. That momentum paints a clear sequence: BTC → ETH → SOL → broader alts. We're not in full altseason yet, but the risk curve is clearly being tested. If this trend holds, expect capital to keep flowing down the ladder into smaller caps.
Good morning, this Bitcoin rally has directly pushed most DeFi tokens up by 20% to over 100%. I've seen this script too many times; the rebound is real, but it definitely doesn't mean every token suddenly becomes a quality long-term investment. 📈
BTC rose 26.9% in 8 days and is currently 36.3% above the June low. The returns of mainstream DeFi tokens are 1.3 to 3 times that of BTC: ENA up 116%, AAVE up 111%, CVX up 109%, ETHFI up 86%, CRV up 80%, FLUID up 69%, UNI up 59%. 🚀
I believe four factors explain this market move: first, short covering and new leverage inflows; second, low circulating supply, with high FDV tokens being more sensitive to capital inflows
Bitcoin ETFs are still printing green, but the momentum is clearly cooling off. 🧊 US spot Bitcoin ETFs pulled in $232. 1M in net inflows yesterday, extending the winning streak to 8 straight sessions. That's a step down from the previous day's $314. 4M, yet the 8-day total still stacks up to a hefty $2. 8B. 📊 Cumulative net inflows now sit at $54. 6B, with total net assets at $98. 6B. Solid numbers, no doubt. 💪 But here's the catch: Bitcoin is still struggling to hold above $80K.
