【ZEC and ZEN Stabilize and Rebound After Sharp Declines — Bear Whale Still Holding Ground】
A couple of days ago, $ZEC plunged from 1299 down to 1053.77, then stopped falling and rebounded today to 1147.96, up 4.64%; $ZEN also bounced back from 6.357 to 6.470. This rebound looks more like a technical correction after being oversold — the MACD green bars have just started to narrow and turn positive, and the RSI has only returned to a neutral-to-bullish level around 50, indicating momentum recovery is just beginning.
Tracking the bear whale Garrett Jin for several days, he is still holding 32,760 ZEC short positions, with unrealized losses fluctuating between $19 million and $22 million. There have been no new positions added nor further closures — it’s a stalemate. Binance’s top traders still have a high short ratio of 72%, and the mainstream market consensus remains unchanged — most believe this rally won’t hold, yet the price stubbornly refuses to give an opportunity to realize profits.
The current focus is not "whether there will be a rebound," but "how long this stalemate can last." The bear’s unrealized losses have not expanded, indicating the price currently lacks momentum to make new highs; but as long as it doesn’t break below the 1053 low, the bulls are holding their ground. The true direction likely requires a clearer catalyst.
