UNI’s Story Is Losing
Its Appeal
Uniswap has handed Unichain over to Optimism, weakening one of UNI’s key growth narratives. While Uniswap’s trading volume remains strong, token holders still receive no direct share of protocol fees because the long-discussed fee switch remains unimplemented.
Without Unichain as a growth catalyst
UNI’s upside largely depends on whether regulators allow fee sharing. Until then, $7 may provide support, but a sustained rally could be difficult.
