Chainlink addresses a fundamental blockchain limitation: smart contracts often need reliable information from outside their own networks. Price feeds, cross-chain communication, and other oracle services make that infrastructure potentially valuable across multiple sectors. The analytical challenge is connecting service adoption to economic value captured by LINK. Infrastructure importance and token demand are related questions, but they are not automatically the same thing.
